Frances Blue, 81, of Tampa passed away October 3, 2014 at her home. She was born in Connersville, IN and moved to Tampa in 1964 coming from Miami. She retired from GTE as a telephone operator. Frances was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star and member of Guardian Angels Auxiliary, and she enjoyed playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Blue, son, Steven Bliss and daughter, Charlene Sweet. Frances is survived by daughters, Darlene Bliss, Doris Keerezey (Tony), Miriam Bliss, Daphne McClellan (Kelly), Kathryn Macario (Vinnie), Barbara Hubbard (James) and Janice Cochran (Steve); son, Mike Blue; 19 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 P.M. Monday, October 13, 2014 at West Broad Street Baptist Church, 3809 W. Broad St, Tampa, FL 33614, Pastor Russell Lyle will officiate. Further services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Oct 14th at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
