George D. Harrington, 79, of Valrico, Florida passed away February 14, 2005. He was a Navy veteran who proudly served during World War II. He was preceded in death by two children, Leonard and Monica Harrington, and a grandson, Austin May. He is survived by his daughters, Peggy Harrington of Valrico, Fla., and Dawn Marie Dragan of Burgettstown, Pa.; sister, Betty Mouyard of Dunlevy, Pa.; former wife, Catherine Harrington of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2005, at Florida National Cemetery.
