George Everett Tinkham, Jr., 73, of Tampa passed away January 25, 2005 as a result of an auto accident. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa and a retired police officer for the Tampa Police Dept. He is survived by his wife Dolores A. Tinkham; sons, Jody, David, Lance and Tyler Tinkham; step-children, Maria & Franc Gigante and Spencer Lewis; and granddaughters, Abby & Amy Gigante and Sommer Rodriguez. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-6 PM at MacDonald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park with Full Honors by Tampa Police Honor Guard.
