Gertrude Agnes "Trudy" (Tenzar) Chleboski, 87, of Tampa, passed away at home on November 22, 2022, after a brief illness. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Trudy is survived by her children Thomas Chleboski, Jr., Andrew York, Lawrence Chleboski, Lisa Thomas and Julie Page, her grandchildren Walker and Casey Cook, her sisters Dorothy Tamburro and Florence Weale, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Chleboski, Sr., and her parents Andrew and Eleanor (Sekula) Tenzar. Trudy graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was an elementary school teacher. She was married on February 23, 1960, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. An active member of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz, Trudy was involved with numerous ministries and organizations in the church. She also enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and she was known for a strong will, unbounding energy and her great sense of humor.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz on Tuesday, November 29th, at 11:00am. The family will receive visitors an hour prior at the church, from 10:00 to 11:00.
Burial will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to burial, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 3rd , at 12:00 noon. The family will receive visitors prior to the Mass from 9:30 to 11:00 am at
Brusco-Napier Funeral Home, 2201 Bensonia Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15216. Internment will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to St. Timothy Catholic Church, 17512 Lakeshore Road, Lutz, Florida.
