In Loving Memory
Mrs. Gladys M. Fernandez, 76, of Tampa passed away July 4, 2009. A native of New York City, she moved to Tampa in 1973. She worked for 20 years at Safety Land Day Care and loved all the children who were in her care. Gladys was a parishioner at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for 36years, where she was a member of the Padre Pio Society and the Ministry of Praise. She also volunteered at Cambridge Nursing Home. She was married for 36 years to Richard Fernandez and is survived by her son, Christopher Fernandez; brother, Edward Velez; and 16 nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
