Obituary
Glenn William Akers, he was born in 1933 and passed quietly on July 9, 2017 at age 83 from Alzheimer's disease. Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Survived by his Beloved wife Rosemary for 62 years. Leaves behind 3 children Michael Akers, wife Tracee & son Kyle. Theresa Jones, husband Thomas & daughter Brianna, sons Adam and Andrew. Andrea Jordan, husband Douglas.
The family will receive friends at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 North Florida Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33612 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday evening July 13, 2017.
Mr Glenn W. Akers funeral will take place with full military honors at 11:30 AM Friday, July 14, 2017 at
Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Fl. 33513 (Take I-75 North from Tampa and
exit at #309 and head West 1 mile)
