Gustavo Adolfo Gotay-"Fito"

Born in Guanica, Puerto Rico.  He was preceded by his daughter, Rosa Maria Gotay and his son, Gustavo Adolfo Gotay Jr. "Bibi".  Gustavo is survived by his wife of 58 years and 10 months, Norma Iris Arroyo-Gotay and his daughter, Norma Iris Gotay-Anderson.  He had 9 granddaughters, 6 great-grandsons and 4 great-granddaughters.

If you ask his granddaughters how to describe him they would say; he was a fun loving, goofy comedian, caring, humble, big kid with a great heart that appreciates life and his family.  He was always calm, caring and respectful.  He loved to help others.  He had a passion for fishing and loved to watch his baseball games-Rays fan!!  One of the things that he used to do is bug his wife and he would laugh about it.  In Ensenada, he used to go to the park every morning to hang out with his friends.  He also enjoyed his weekly calls to his friends in Puerto Rico.  If you ask his daughter how to describe him she would say; he was there when she took her first breaths and she was there when he took his last, every moment in between was nothing but love.
