Harold Matthew Harbeson, 77, of Temple Terrace, Floridapassed away December. 4, 2004. He was born in NY, he served in the Navy (1941-1945) aboard the USS Solar and the USS Vulcan, receiving the World War II Victory Medal. He retired from the United States Department of Agriculture, and owned Gertrude's Ice Cream Parlor, named after his beloved wife. Survivors include two sons, Michael and James and a daughter, Eve of Tampa, one sister, Genevieve, and two grandchildren.
