Helen Niewinski, our beloved wife and mother, was taken to the Lord on Christmas Eve 2013. Helen was born in New Jersey on January 8, 1923, and moved to Tampa in 1954. She was a beloved homemaker, and retired as the secretary/bookkeeper for Most Holy Redeemer Catholic School in 2003 after 40 years of service. She is survived by Walt, her husband of 71 years; two daughters, Joan Taggart (Tom), and Judy Pratt (John); six grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez, Kimberly Labarbera, Kevin Pratt, Kristi Eisenhardt, Natalie Taggart, and Keith Pratt; and three great grandchildren, Jack and Ashton Labarbera, and Emily Eisenhardt. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at 10 AM, with interment to follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family requests donations to Lifepath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Drive, Suite #300, Temple Terrace, FL 33637 in lieu of flowers.
