Helen Jane Testerman,65, of Tampa, Florida was called to be with the Lord on July 22, 2011.Her final days were spent surrounded by family.Born July 5, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, she had resided in Tampa for 64 years.She worked for Medco Health Solutions for the past 19 years and was a faithful member of West Broad Street Baptist Church where she loved to teach Sunday School to the children and sing in the choir.She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Hugh C. and Nell L.Whelchel.She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Ronald Testerman; daughters, Patty Brooks of Tampa, Christy Gant and husband, Buddy of Tampa, Sherry Spurlock of Lakeland, Jacki Testerman of St. Petersburg; son, Ronnie Testerman and wife, Michelle, of Lakeland; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Clif Whelchel of Wesley Chapel and Hugh Whelchel of Plant City; sister, Shirley Jo Conway of Gilbert, South Carolina; and many beloved nieces and nephews.She was a remarkable wife, mother, sister, aunt and loyal friend to many.Throughout her recent illness she maintained her beauty, grace and love, which will never be diminished in the lives of her family and friends.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at West Broad Street Baptist Church with Rev.
