Henry McCarty Appleby Jr, 100, passed away on March 2, 2013 in his Tampa home.He was predeceased by his two wives, Mary Stanford Appleby and Lois Reynolds Appleby; as well as his two sons, Paul Stanford Appleby and James David Appleby.He is survived by his grandson, Patrick (wife, Sandi) Appleby; his great-granddaughter, Jenna Lynn Appleby; and beloved friends Ron & Cecilia Scherer and Betty & Larry Conte, and their extended families.
Henry was a born January 22, 1913 in Jefferson, Georgia and was a true southern gentleman.He loved spending time with his family and good friends.Henry was a kind, peaceful, noble man, always willing to lend a helping hand.He took pleasure in problem solving, especially cryptograms, and kept a sharp mind throughout his life.He will forever be loved and remembered.
