Hilda Lluis Cooper, 104, of Tampa (Ybor City), passed away February 4, 2021, after a brief illness. She is survived by her son, Daniel Pia, D.C. (Karla); two grandchildren, Denise Pia Meck and Daniel T. Pia (Mary), five great-grandchildren, Zachary D. and Alexandra D. Meck; Alicia, Jared and Elaina Pia; one great-great granddaughter, Aaliyah, one nephew John J. "Alan" Gonzalez, two nieces, Kathryn Lluis Jerman (Gary), Sylvia C. Lluis (by marriage), several grand-nephews, two grand-nieces, one great-great niece and several second cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pedro Lluis and Angela Gasaman; two brothers Gus Lluis and Victor H. Lluis, Sr., two sisters Alba "Nena" L. Gonzalez, and Rose Lluis, two nephews Victor H. Lluis, Jr. and Robert Lluis, M.D.
She was a life-long resident of Tampa and worked in the office for the Albany-Sligh Chiropractic Clinic for many years, which was her son's Chiropractic practice. She was a devout Christian, loved to ballroom dance and had various favorite charities: ASPCA, and Military Veterans.
An inurnment service will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00 at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 U.S. Hwy 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the charities listed above in her name.
