Mrs. Hope Torres, 83, Tampa native passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2006. She was a devoted wife married 50 plus years to the old man of the sea Julian Torres. They enjoyed three children, Sonia LaFe, Helen Gaudin (Rod) & Robert Torres (Nancy). Her memory and love lives on through her three children, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great great grandson, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, cousins and many friends. She was a quiet, tender and delicate woman. Hope taught us all to have a sense of family and closeness. It is hard to sum up in words all the wonderful and touching qualities of Hope but she was loved and gave love freely.
