Hyacinth Tavares, 91, of Tampa passed away Monday, August 16, 2004 while under the care of Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Leslie A. Tavares and son, Dr. Leslie A. Tavares, Jr.; Survivors include her two sons, Raymond of Tampa and Gerald of Tarpon Springs; five daughters, Doreen Browder of Chattanooga, TN, Claire Stewart of Tampa, Greta Meeks of Indian Shores, Gloria Owen of Tampa and Priscilla Trimmier of Safety Harbor; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM today, Wednesday at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
