Idell Marie Greene, 63, of plant city, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 6 surrounded by her loving family.

Idell was a warrior. She battled cancer for 10 years and was cancer free the last few years. She had a love of life and never wanted to give up.

Idell worked as a waitress for most of her life. She enjoyed her job and was an excellent waitress.

Idell loved animals. She took home strays that she found while out running errands. She had her own personal animal rescue.

Idell is survived by her boyfriend of 20 years, Paul Coyle, son, John Michael, mother, Mary Montgomery, sister, Elizabeth Greene, brother, Greg White, a niece, Natasha Shoemaker and nephew, Jordan Wilson-Greene. Idell was proceeded in death by her husband of 21+ years, John Greene, and father, Gene White.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Idell's life and remember the love and friendship she shared with others during visiting hours on Saturday, December 17 from 2 to 3 PM at the MacDonalds Funeral Home and Cremation at 10520 N. Florida Ave., Tampa,, FL and the memorial from 3 to 4 PM.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Tampa Humane Society, or an animal shelter of your choice.
