Jack Keates, age 70, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Saturday May 5th, 2018. Mr. Keates, son of Robert and Mildred Keates, was born on September 16th, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On January 17th, 2004, he was united in marriage to Nadia Vermeulen. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of South Florida. Jack was a member of Tampa First Church of the Nazarene in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Keates was involved in his local Toastmasters, as well as Men's Ministry and Youth Counseling. Mr. Keates enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh.

Survivors include a wife, Nadia Keates, of Tampa, Florida. One son, Timothy Keates and wife Cassandra, of Washburn, Missouri; and 5 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother.
