Jacquelyn Mauldin, 94, of Plant City, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Born March 19, 1931 in Riverview FL; she was a Tampa Bay native.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sonny Mauldin of 70 years, her parents John and Callie Wiggins and eleven siblings. She is survived by her two children, Sunny Raml of Tampa and Kerry Mauldin and wife, Melissa Mauldin of Valrico. The joy of her life were her three grandchildren Kristin Waldrop of Plant City, Ryan Mauldin of Bronx, NY and Kara Mauldin of Brandon. She adored her three great-grandchildren Michaela Waldrop of Brandon, Madison Waldrop of Normal, IL and Amari Gonzalez of NY.
She was a sweet, loving and devoted mother and nana who always put her family first.
Jackie liked the outdoors. She and her husband enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping, and road trips to the mountains. They enjoyed doing everything together.
Jackie loved hosting family celebrations and holidays in her home. She was an avid reader of books and collected them. She was athletic and enjoyed softball, bowling, cooking, baking, card games and sharing God's Word with others. She was a devout Christian and had a deep faith and testimony in God and enjoyed reading her Bible daily. She was an active member of her church, and served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a Christian role model for family and friends.
Jackie will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 10 at 11:00 am. at East Thonotosassa Baptist Church, 12735 Knights Griffin Road in Thonotosassa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association at https://donorservices.alz.org or Wisdom for the Heart at https://www.wisdomonline.org
