James Cochran, (James White Sr)., 79, on November 26, 2010 James went to be with Jesus, along side his mother and brother. Born and raised in Bartow, Fl he is survived by his children Bretina Reynolds, James White Jr., Kier White, Cathy Francis, Rocky J White and Melony Gaffney, 10 grandchildren, his sisters Doris Larkin and Helen White along with several nieces and nephews. James was an Electrician by day and Musician by night and a master of both. James was known all over in the Country Music entertainment world as Johnny 7 and Jumpin Jimmy White among others. He idoled himself after Chet Atkins and either played along side or opened for such acts as Tammy Wynette, Charlie Rich, Willey Nelson, Johnny Paycheck, Stonewall Jackson and Don Williams to mention a few. He will be missed by his Family and Friends. The family will visit with friends from 5-7 pm Thursday, December 2nd at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa, followed by a memorial service at 7 P.M.
