Mr. James Dominic Hughes (Jim),60, of St. Petersburg, FLpassed away July 27, 2020. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. Mr. Hughes began his career as a CPA working in New York City. He moved to Tampa in 1997 where he began his IT Project Management career. As a teenager, he earned his Eagle Scout Award and also ran a successful lawn mowing business which helped him pay for school. He was a valued team member at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and a proud father. He is survived by his daughter, Megan Hughes; son, Marcus Hughes; daughter, Maria Hughes; his father, James F. Hughes; brother, Kevin Hughes & his wife Deborah. Jim leaves behind many cousins and two nephews. He was predeceased by cherished uncle Eugene, who he looked up to and who inspired him to get his CPA. He predeceased his mother by one day. Family will gather with friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 8th between 2-4 pm. No service will be held.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines;6 ft distancing, face masks, limited entries,family requests a brief visit from friends for those who plan to come by.
