James B. "Jimmy" Jordan, 75, of Land O'Lakes, Florida passed away November 17, 2004 after battling cancer. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his two sons, Clyde, of Land O' Lakes and John of Tallahassee; his daughter, Debbie Dunsmoor of Tallahassee and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Jimmy was born in Miami, Florida and he served as a Merchant Seaman during World War II. He enjoyed a successful career as the Deputy Director of the Division of Law Enforcement for the Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commission, now known as the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Following his retirement in 1983, Jimmy owned & operated his own business as a contractor in Alligator Point, Florida where he had been a long-time resident. He and Barbara have resided in Land O' Lakes Florida for the past five years. Throughout his life, Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing and the company of family and friends. Jimmy's family would like to thank the Pasco-Hernando Hospice staff for their care and support throughout his illness. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Sunday, November 28, 2004 at Mission By the Sea in Alligator Point, Florida. Jimmy is loved and will be missed.
