Obituary
James L. (Roy/Trigger) Rogers, 87, of Tampa passed away September, 9, 2016 and went to be with the Lord he served for 70 plus years. To know Roy was to know his heart, his love for God, his devotion to family. Caring for friends and first time acquaintances was unconditional and on a level most of us will never understand. The void his passing left is unmeasurable. Left behind is his wife Betty Rogers, three daughters, Jan Griffin (Kenny), Connie Harris (Bill) and Patti Rogers; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Riverhills Church of God, 6310 E. Sligh Ave, Tampa on Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 1:00 pm with services beginning at 2:00 pm. Private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, I'm sure Roy would appreciate donations to Riverhills Church of God.
