Mr. James Wilberforce Smith, 64, born in Port Au Prince, Haiti passed away May 9, 2016. He migrated to London, England living there for over 30 years. He migrated again to the United States in 1981. James worked at P.S. 290 Manhattan New School, New York as a custodian until he retired. He enjoyed watching soccer and the Investigatve Channel on his days off. James was always a loving and affectionate father, brother, uncle and cousin. His memories will be cherished by his sisters, Marie and Marguerite, especially his children, Carla, Jacklyn, Christopher, James Walter and Theodore. James hard work and family were the main pillars of his life. This is and always be his legacy. We miss you James and send you off to the bossom of Abraham, until that glorous day. The family will receive friends from 2-6 PM Sunday May 22nd at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa. A funeral service to honor James's life will take place 11 AM Monday, May 23rd at the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
