James Lee Walton Jr., 43, Passed away on May 17, 2026

James was born May 20, 1982, at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. To the parents of James Lee Walton Sr. & Cheryl Denise Williams. James was educated in the Tampa Public School System. On June 14, 1999, James welcomed a daughter into the world named Jameshia Walton. James spent much of his life conducting janitorial cleaning services for different organizations throughout Tampa, Clearwater & St. Petersburg Florida.

James loved to fish and spent a lot of time fishing; he loved to be involved in family functions and would always keep the crowd laughing.

James leaves to cherish his memory, his father James Lee Walton Sr., his daughter Jameshia Walton, his brother Jermaine Walton (Williams), two sisters Sherrika Walton and Antashia Moye, two grandchildren Jaylen Young and Aden Huggins, a special friend Celida Gonzales, and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

James is preceded in death by his mother Cheryl Denise Williams, his grandmothers; Delores Williams and Florence Walton and grandfathers; Sydney Albury, and Charles Walton Sr.

There will be a visitation held for James at 9:30 am on Friday, May 29, 2026 at MacDonald Funeral Home (10520 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33612). A funeral service will begin at 10:30 am.
