Mr. James Patrick Weir, age 63, of Land O Lakes, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at his residence. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden loss.

James was born on September 9, 1961, in Tampa, Florida, to James Holman Weir and Joanne Elizabeth Ovarlet. Known as Pat by family and friends, he was a Tampa resident for his entire life. He worked locally as an electrician for over 40 years. Pat was a lifetime Dallas Cowboys fan and loved the Tampa Bay Lightning.

He leaves behind two daughters and one son-in-law, Taylor Danielle Duran (Nicholas) of Roswell, Georgia, and Kasey Nicole Weir of Tampa, Florida; two grandsons, Nathan and Julian Duran; and three sisters, Lisa Clark, Valerie Weir-O'Neill, and Sherie Bartlett.

Family will be holding a private remembrance for Pat. He will be dearly remembered and deeply missed.
