Janice Mary (Harris) Murphy 92, of Trinidad and Tobago, a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and resident of Tampa, Florida since 1983, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Melech Hospice House.

Born October 19, 1933 to Rosita (Bornn) and Edgar "Boisie" Harris in Port of Spain, Trinidad. She traveled internationally for several years before settling in Tampa, Florida. Her survivors included her youngest sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Lee Wen, her eldest daughter, Anne Marie Studer Bondergaard (Allan -son in law), son Terrence and daughter Nichola. Grandmother of Terrence Murphy, Jr, Dylan Studer, Marjai Murphy, Ronald Studer and Zara Murphy. Her 7 great grandchildren whom she adored. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Peter and Thomas " Tommy" Harris, sister Helen Lee Chong, ex-husband, Patrick "Paddy" Murphy and son Dominic Murphy. \

A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday February 7, at 10 am at Mary help of Christian's Catholic Church, 6400 E Chelsea St, Tampa, FL 33610. Repass will follow at the church hall.
