With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jazmine Jimenez, lovingly known as Jasmine International, on August 8, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 46.

Natural from Loíza, Puerto Rico, Jazmine was a proud Puerto Rican transgender woman, beloved performer, and dedicated LGBTQ+ advocate. She was admired for her grace, talent, and resilience, notably as a survivor of the 2016 Pulse Nightclub tragedy in Orlando. Beyond the stage, she was a source of kindness, courage, and inspiration to all who knew her.

Jazmine was preceded in death by her father Papo Guaño, her oldest brother Javier, and her youngest brother Baby Javier. She is survived by her mother, Gloria Lopez; her drag mother, Maria; her drag father, Johnnie; her drag godmother Esme; six sisters; five brothers; and many beloved relatives, friends, and chosen family.

Funeral services will take place in Tampa, Florida, followed by her final journey home to Loíza, Puerto Rico, where she will be laid to rest.

Her light, love, and legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched.
