Mr. Jefferson "Jeff" Yancey, 83, of Tampa passed away March 28, 2008. Jeff served with United States Army in the Pacific during World War II. He retired from the Hillsborough County School Board and was the caretaker at Camp Oconee on Lake Magdalene. He is survived by his wife Mary; sons, Garry (Vivian) and Jerry (Kathy); daughter, Nancey Jellerson (David); sisters, Ruby Beck and Beatrice Crane; grandsons, J.D.Yancey, Blake Yancey and Eric Jellerson; and a great grandson, Colton Yancey. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 PM at MacDonald Funeral Home 10520 North Florida Avenue, Tampa. A graveside service will take place 1:30 PM April 1st Tuesday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St Joseph's Hospital, Tampa Florida
