Jennifer Mary Rose
June 10,1974- June 24,2018
Jennifer died unexpectedly at her home Sunday. In life, Jennifer was born in Lewiston, New York and attended St. Peter's School and Lewiston Porter High School in Lewiston, New York. She was an integral part of the family business, Rose Pressure Wash.
Jennifer married Wayne Hicks, and they had two children Hunter and Megan.
They moved to Florida. For over 10 years Jennifer was a member of the Panera Bread family, starting as a baker and working her way up to achieving the title of BTS- which is Baking Trainer Specialist overseeing the baking at many of the local and regional facilities. She was born to lead and supervise, even as a young person exhibiting these qualities early by guiding and mothering her two younger sisters Vee and Katie.
Never afraid of a challenge, Jenny never gave in or gave up. She loved her family unconditionally, especially all her nieces and nephews: Gabby, Barno, Bella and Frankie. She was thrilled to learn just this month that she had become a great aunt to Adeline Genevieve. They all loved their "Aunt Jenny Benny" who always made time for them, she was the life of the party, always ready to do something fun, make things happy. She was the family "Peter Pan" always wanting to stay young with childish innocence.
Jennifer is survived by her children Hunter Jeffrey Hicks and Megan Macy Hicks, her parents, Jeffrey Vana Rose and Joanne Hunt Rose, her sisters Angela Vana Rose Schifano and Kathryn Elizabeth Rose Sanchez, her nieces Gabriella Rose Schifano Diaz and Isabella Rose Llanos, her nephews Bernardo Schifano Jr and Francisco Raymundo Sanchez and her great niece Adeline Genevieve Schifano and her uncle Craig Hall Hunt.
She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Edgar and her maternal grandparents Lt Col James Edgar Hunt, Esq and Genevieve Hall Hunt and paternal grandparents Joann Vana Rose and William Rose, all of Lewiston, New York. Also, Jenny lost her beloved English bulldog Sammy last fall, he was her constant companion for over 14 years and was a member of our family.
She will be sorely missed, deeply loved and never forgotten.
