Wow! What a man! Loving, kind, unselfish, brave and strong are just a few of the qualities that made him so beloved by wife Lorraine; mother-in-law, Harriet McBride; daughters, Debbie Garoutte, Kathy Smith, Carolynn Cross, Sharon Fordyce, Bonnie Pullara, Lori Ryals, Jessica Lopez; sons-in-laws, Jim Cross, Vincent Pullara, Rick Ryals and Monti Lopez. Sure to miss his gentle, bear hugs are grandchildren, Brandon, April, Shelley and Jason Garoutte, Kelsey Hinsz, Jim and Jamie Cross, Dominick and Sebastian Pullara, Austin, Amber and Alexis Lopez. Chris was always ready to lend a helping hand to neighbors, friends and the community. For several years he coached the Lutz Leagurettes and served wonderful food in Chris' Corner at Nye Park. He was a master carpenter and filled our homes with homemade wood shelves, wood figurines for our yards during the holidays, cribs and jungle gyms for the grandchildren and anything else we asked for. He was the ultimate "Mr. Mom" and will be dearly missed by family and friends. He never sought riches or fame; he just wanted a loving family. After many years of trial, he achieved his goal. Family members will gather in a private service to honor this outstanding man at his residence. "Thank you, Poppo, for enriching our lives! We will never forget you!"
