Jessiebel (Annabel) Santillan Tomasi passed away on January 29, 2020. Bel was born in Nabas, Aklan, Philippines, to Diosdado and Valeria Santillan. She spent many years traveling around the world as a military wife and settled in Tampa in 1985. Bel is survived by her devoted companion and friend Gary Furman. Bel is also survived by her children and their partners: Chuck Tomasi and Staci Perroni, Tess Tomasi and Garreth Piekarski, and Regina Tomasi and Andre Alderete. She is also survived by her grandchildren Stella Martin, Arlayah Alderete, Iris Martin, Achilles Alderete, and Cora Piekarski. She is pre-deceased by her former husband Lt. Col. Charles Tomasi, USAF. Bel will be missed by her devoted sister Nestoria Emy Amos of Tampa and a host of brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces in the Philippines.

Bel will be remembered for her warm personality and she enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. She was a savvy saleswoman and made friends everywhere she went. A memorial service in her honor will be held on Friday, February 7 at 2pm, at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 North Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL 33612.
