Jo-Ann McDonnell, 71, of Tampa, FL, passed away on March 29, 2016. Originally from New York, Jo-Ann called Florida home since 1980. Jo-Ann enjoyed a rich and varied life. A lover of horses, cooking and home design. She achieved success working in the home improvement sector and in real estate. Jo-Ann is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas; her children Joseph, Jennifer (Al) and Thomas (Mary). Jo-Ann was devoted to her grandchildren, Hannah, Joey and Daniel; and they adored their "Lucky." A visitation will take place at 6 PM Wednesday, April 6, at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33612. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 7 at 10am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 12708 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice.
