Joan Wright, 89, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025. She was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on September 13, 1936, and moved to Tampa, FL when she was 16 years old.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a faithful servant of the Church, Joan lived her life with love, grace, and unwavering faith. She now rejoins her beloved husband, Gary Wright, in Heaven.

Joan was a lifelong member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for 73 years and served her parish community as a Eucharistic Minister, offering comfort, prayer, and compassion to all she met.

Joan is survived by her children, Karen Wright, James Wright (Myoung), Sue Wright, and Amy Morris (Tom); her grandchildren, Amanda Brill, Ashley Wright, Jake Jacobs, Kelsey Kaelin, and Megan Bue; and her great-grandchildren, Parker and Peyton Brill, Waylon Jacobs, and a soon-to-be-born precious great-grandson.

Joan will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to family, and the love she shared so freely throughout her life. Joan's legacy of faith and family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church on Thursday, December 4th, at 11:00am.
