John (Jack) Kenneth Davidson, 86, of Lutz FL, passed away May 9, 2015. Born and raised in Eden New York. He was one of 4 children of the late Grace (Jonrowe) and Harry Edward Davidson of Bradenton Fl formally of Eden NY. Jack served in the US Navy aboard the USS Duluth and the USS Bremerton during WWII and the USS Essex during the Korean War. Jack and Nancy moved their family to Florida in 1956.Jack started working for the Schlitz Brewing Company in 1959 and retired after 30 years of service working as a Stationary Engineer in the power house.Jack is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Nancy B Davidson, grandson John Edward Ramsey, one brother Benjamin Davidson (Ruth), sisters Carolyn Webster (Bud), and Juanita Shultis (Richard). He is survived by five children, Sherry (Stanley) James, Tampa; David (Kathryn) Davidson of Marietta, GA; Dane ( Audrey) Davidson, Hernando City, FL; Carol (Jeffrey) Hurst, Lutz; Shawn (Cathy) Davidson, Tampa; twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral service with Full Military Honors will be presented on Friday May 29th, at 11:00 AM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Shiners' Hospital for Children.
