GRATTAN, John F. Jr., 70, of Tampa passed away July 28, 2007. He served with U.S. Army during Vietnam, a Purple Heart recipient, and retired as Sergeant First Class. John was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Temple Terrace and Knights of Columbus, Council #7644, Past Grand Knight and a 4th Degree Knight. He was a representative for the Respect Life Ministry at Corpus Christi. He enjoyed fantasy football and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Jean; a son, daughter and granddaughter. The family will receive friends Wednesday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church from 6-8 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Thursday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A reception to follow in the Parish Center. Full Military Honors will be presented at 1 PM Thursday at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clearwater. Contributions may be made in his memory to St Vincent De Paul Society or charity of choice.
