Mr. Johnny, R. Johnson, 55, of Tampa passed away August 19, 2005. He served with U.S. Air Force. He was a member of West Broad Street Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He retired from the City of Tampa Water Dept in 1998 after 24 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Kathy Johnson; son, Greg Johnson (Kelley); daughter, Amy Gallagher (Ricky), all of Tampa; sister, Kat Tomlin (Jim) of Sierra Vista, AZ; four grandchildren, Tyler, Corey & Dylan Johnson and Jake Gallagher; aunts, uncles, cousins and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11AM Wednesday at West Broad Street Baptist Church. Private interment will follow at Bowling Green Cemetery, Bowling Green, Fla. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM.
