Mr. Johnny A. Karas, 59, of Tampa, Florida passed away October 27, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa. He was a lifelong resident of Tampa and was of the Greek Orthodox faith. He is survived by his father, Anthony Karas; mother, Sophie Karas; twin-brother, Constantine Karas; sister, Pauline Karas Spencer (husband Wayne); son, Christopher Karas; three nieces, Tanya Schupp (husband Richard) and their children, Ricky and Hailey; Antoinette Bush (husband Matthew) and their children, Jacen, Michael and Vasilis; Elishia Meadows (husband Alexander) and their children, Michael "Mikey" and Paige "Sophia". Funeral service will take place 5 pm Sunday, November 1, 2015 at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa. The family will receive friends prior from 3:00 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions be sent to St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2418 W. Swann Ave, Tampa, FL 33609 in memory of Johnny A Karas.
