Obituary

Jolee Ann Tarrant, 19, of Shingle Springs, California, passed away as a result of an automobile accident on January 4, 2012 in Zephyrhills, Florida. She was a sophomore at Florida College in Temple Terrace Florida studying Photo Journalism. Jolee loved many things: Harry Potter, roses, chocolate, yoga, laughing, being creative, chocolate, butter bars and lotion, shopping, more chocolate, and of course, her Nikon camera, "Issa", meaning "a cup of tea" in Japanese. Her tea collection at home – taking up full cabinets – was a familiar sight to those closest to her. She had a joy for living, which she shared and spread to others, and received complete happiness by brightening whosoever day she could. Her unique fashion carried over into her photography, as she dressed up many of those who knew her and took their pictures. Photo-shoots were a norm for her and her friends. Jolee had a love for plants which was constantly developing into something more. She mixed many of her passions in a creative way, placing random objects like tins and shoes among her plants, and plants inside the objects, making her own creative garden. Her first passion was for God. She was a light to everyone around her, sharing scriptures and bringing others to the Lord. It brought several people comfort to hear that her life had reached a high – she was happy.

She is survived by her sisters Belinda (17) and Natalie (17), and brother Weston (21); her Father and Mother, Russell and Sharon Tarrant; her paternal grandparents Ken and Linda Tarrant; and her maternal Grandmother Beverly Duer. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Max Duer.

Jolee's memorial service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, January 14th at the Folsom church of Christ meeting place at 900 E. Natoma in Folsom, California.

A service will take place locally at 7 PM Tuesday, January 10th in the Hutchinson Auditorium at Florida College, 119 N. Glen Arven Avenue, Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
