An outstanding baseball player in his youth and avid tennis player and golfer throughout his adult life, he whole-heartedly enjoyed watching sports of every sort and was an outstanding domino player. He was a free spirit and could be stubborn sometimes, especially with his obsession toward his children and their well-being. All who knew Dicky loved being around him and as he had the ability to make friends easily! He was quite a character, very charming with the ladies, always funny and witty, a great cook who sought to entertain in the kitchen and a man of faith. He was a loyal friend to many, and will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him.
A Celebration of his life will be held at Oak Grove Church of God on 6830 N. Habana Ave, Tampa FL 33614 on Saturday, January 28 from 12PM to 2:30pm with a memorial service at 1pm. His family is grateful for the outpouring of love expressed by so many.
