Joseph R. Perez, Jr. age 71 was born and raised in Tampa.He passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 due to a battle with lung cancer.He served during Vietnam with the United States Army. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of over 32 years, Sherry Pfleger Perez; his sister Sandra Perez, daughter Christina and son Joseph Perez, ex-wife Martha, three half sisters, Connie, Angie and Cynthia. In addition, Joe is also survived by several nephews, Chris, Little Tony, and Brenden and niece Stephanie with several cousins, step children and loved ones. He also leaves behind his two lovingly mother-In-laws, Chris Territo and Olga Booker, as well as his sister in-law, Theresa and brother in-law Clyfton Hayes.Joe was well liked and loved by many of his friends and relatives. Joe was known as a great auto mechanic in Tampa. He will be missed by all. Viewing will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 at MacDonald Funeral Home at 10:30 A.M., followed with a eulogy by Pastor Jones at 12:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery for full military honors.
