Joseph Saladino, Jr., 84, a longtime resident of Land O'Lakes, Florida passed peacefully on February 8, 2024.

He was born in Tampa, Florida to Joe and Rose Saladino.

After High School he proudly served his Country in the United States Marine Corps.

He spent much of his career working with Delta Airlines where he retired after 29 years of performing all aspects of passenger service.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Rose Saladino and is survived by his loving wife Gail Saladino of almost 39 years, sister Josephine McMurtry of Panama City, Florida, children Joseph and Renee Saladino of Inverness, Florida, Steven and Alisa Saladino of Tampa, Florida, Mark and Christy Saladino of Jonesborough, Tennessee, and Sonya and Greg Rojas of San Antonio, Florida.

He was also blessed to have 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren who made him the proudest Nano and Papa ever.

Joe loved his family and friends and their gatherings, his Sicilian heritage and food, fishing and playing slots at the casinos.

He was a friend to many, stranger to no one.

Joe was a member of the Marine's Forever and Delta Retirement groups and served on many not-for-profit boards and volunteered in community services throughout the years.

The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to the men and women of Moffitt Cancer Center Tampa who cared for Dad.

At his request, no funeral services are planned.
