Josephine died peacefully in the comfort of her residence in Tampa, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mildred Yerbic, by her husband Jack Callahan and by her brothers John and Frank Yerbic.  She is survived by her daughter Teresa Vandenberg of Lutz, Florida, and her grandson Patrick Hood of San Antonio, Florida.  Josephine was born in Canton, Illinois.  She was a graduate of Saint Mary's School and Canton High School.  She married Jack Callahan of Canton on June 11, 1949.  They had one child Teresa.  Josephine lived at various times in Illinois and Florida.  She traveled through most of the United States and Italy.  Josephine was a kind person, a devout Catholic, true to her faith, and was fiercely committed to her family.   A graveside service will be held in Canton, Illinois at a date to be determined.
