Mrs. JoyceMacDonald Carpenter (nee Cantwell), of Clearwater passed away January 19, 2008. She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Council of Catholic Women. Other memberships include Federated Women's Club of Clearwater, Knights of Columbus, and L.O.T.A. She was a music teacher and loved to play the piano and organ. She was recognized often for her style and love of fashionable hats. She is loved and will be missed by her two sons, Scott MacDonald (Julie) of Alpharetta, GA and Lowell MacDonald (Betty) of Land O' Lakes; and her two wonderful grandchildren, Tyler Joseph and Jordan Nicole. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM Friday at St. Cecelia Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday followed by a prayer service at 8 PM at Rhodes Funeral Directors, Druid Road Chapel. Further services and burial will take place in Charlottetown, PEI, Canada. Joyce always had a bright smile and was a joy to be with and will be missed dearly by her family and many, many friends.
