Joyce Payne, 79, of Temple Terrace passed away on August 4, 2019. Joyce was born in Charleston, West Virginia, and joined our community in 1957 to attend Florida College. She later became a valued employee of her alma mater.Joyce was a dedicated member of the Temple Terrace Church of Christ. She was an avid quilter and reader as well as a volunteer.Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Bob and parents Charles and Edna Bailey as well as her sister Charlene. She will be greatly missed by the surviving members of her family; brother Eddie, daughters Polly and Robin as well as sons-in-law Mike and Jeff and grandsons Miles, Logan, and Hunter.A memorial service to celebrate Joyce's life is scheduled forSaturday, August 10, at the Temple Terrace Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either the Melech Hospice House or Florida College.
