Julia Quiroz, 83, of Tampa passed away September 24, 2018.Julia Quiroz was born in Puerto Rico. She came to the States when she was 15, where she met Rafael Torres and they later married. Rafael and Julia lived in New York City where they became Restaurateurs. During this time they had seven children, Rafael, Anthony, Nellie, Marie, Sonya, Fe, and Margarita. Julia's husband died in 1968, she was then left to raise seven children on her own; though this was a huge undertaking, she did not falter. In 1974 she married Ricardo Quiroz's and helped raise and support his six children. Julia was the pillar of the family, she loved to cook and be surrounded by her family. She will truly be missed. She is survived by 4 children, 24 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Friday, September 26, 11 AM at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM bat the funeral home.
