Karen L. Lundy, 51 of Tampa, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.Karen was born on November 12, 1965 in Pittsburgh, PA.She is survived by her loving parents Ralph W. Lloyd, Sr. and Mary Anne Aubrecht Lloyd; brother, Ralph Lloyd, Jr..Karen has lived in Tampa since she was 3 years old.She was a graduate of Chamberlain High School.Karen was an avid knitter and a simple woman that enjoyed iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts, shopping with her mother, and loving all four of her children with all her heart. She was known for her beautiful hats, scarves, and much more that she knitted and gave away to loved ones and friends. She also made amazing cookies of all kinds that she baked for all she knew, no matter the occasion, which made her known as "The Cookie Lady". She leaves behind her daughter, Heather Lundy Mash, 30, in Virginia who is studying for her Nursing degree; Daniel Lundy, 28, in Maryland who serves in the United States Navy; Andrew Lundy, 23, in Louisiana who serves in the United States Air Force; and John Lloyd called "John John", 16, who lived with her in Tampa who is a wonderful violinist; grandchildren Alyssa Mash,13 Brie Lundy, 12, and Garrett Mash, 8, of Virginia.Karen also leaves behind many close neighbors, friends, and colleagues.
