Karey (Buck) Franklin I passed away peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023. surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 30, 1940, in Huntsville, Alabama.

Karey is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Denise; sons Karey Franklin II (Shannon) and Kevin Franklin; grandchildren Jeremy, Tyler, Matthew, Zachary and Kara; and great-granddaughter Lilly.

Karey served as a Private First Class in the United States Army. He was retired from AAA Cooper Transportation.

The simplest pleasures brought great joy to Karey: spending time with his loving family, motorcycle rides in the country, a love of cars, and westerns.

Karey will be laid to rest with military honors at Florida National cemetery on Tuesday, March 7th, at 2:00
