Kathleen Joyce Meyer, of Tampa, Florida, loving mother, sister, and wife, was born on November 22, 1936 in Cullman, Alabama from parents Charles and Cynthia Lott and died at home on October 6, 2019, 82 years of age. From a close-knit family of eight children, she leaves Helen Craton, Charles Ray Lott, and Laranda McCulloch, her surviving siblings. A homecoming queen in Alabama, she went to high school in Parish, Alabama and Salem, Ohio; graduating high school, and joining the U.S. Navy in 1956. A Navy veteran and wife of Navy veterans, Joseph J Mancuso, and Charles W Meyer, she had two children, Rhonda Mancuso, and Joseph Mancuso, and son-in-law, Simon Barker, with close friends everywhere she went including Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida and Iowa. She was an award-winning artist, a cosmetologist, a waitress and assembled lunar module parts for the moon launch, all while taking care of her children and household. She was a fervent and zealous Christian her whole life, rest with Jesus. You are now free, your spirit is soaring like an eagle over us. A Celebration of her life will be held on November 9, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Hope Presbyterian Church, 5107 W Lutz Lake Fern Road, Lutz, FL 33588.
