Kathleen passed away on Friday, January 19,2024 in Tampa, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Ostrem, her parents Andrew Darney and Rose Scalia, her brothers Sonny, Richard and Dennis Darney and her sister Rose Janet Keys.

Kathleen (or Kathy) was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on March 7, 1944. She had an adventurous spirit, living in several states and traveling extensively during her lifetime. An avid sports fan she was a loyal supporter of her beloved Pittsburgh teams, the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.

Known for her quick wit and spicy personality Kathy was an unpredictable delight to those who were fortunate enough to call her friend.

She is survived by her niece Deanna Pinner and nephews Jake Ostrem, Mark and Brian Darney as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

At her request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
