Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly Gillen-Holladay at the age of 55 on February 1st, 2023. Kelly was a wonderful woman, kind and generous, with an infectious laugh and an endearing smile.

Kelly was born to Connie and Russell Gillen on August 1, 1967, and she was the beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie and Russell, and is survived by her loving husband Pat, two children through marriage Deb and Steve, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her sister Lisa, brothers Mike and Scott, and numerous nephews and nieces, and her parrot Herbie.

Throughout her life, Kelly was an animal lover. She had a special fondness for cats, dogs, and exotic birds, always willing to lend a helping hand to stray animals in need of help. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors and birdwatching, and she was passionate about traveling and exploring new places.

Kelly was a beloved member of her community and she will be remembered for her immense generosity, her kind heart, and her devotion to her family and friends. She was a shining light in the world and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the life of Kelly Gillen-Holladay.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at MacDonald Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9th, at 1:00pm.

The family will receive visitors an hour prior, from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.
