Mr. Lawrence J. Meloche 70, of Sebring, Florida passed away September 7, 2012 at Tampa General Hospital. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Sebring in 2004 coming from Westland, Michigan. He served with the United States Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was of the Catholic faith,was a retired plumber and was a member of Detroit Plumbers Local Union 98, life member of Moose Lodge, life member of the VFW, life member of the Elks, Eagles, AMVETS and the American Legion. Mr. Meloche is survived by his wife, Jeanette Meloche of Sebring, FL; sons, John Meloche of Olmstead Falls, OH, David Meloche of Bailey MS and Rocky Kent of Twin City, GA; brother, Gary Meloche of Westland, MI; grandchildren, Dana Meloche of Olmstead Falls, OH, Michael Meloche of Olmstead Falls, OH, Brandi Meloche of Collinsville, MS, Tori Meloche of Bailey, MS, Randa Kent of Twin City, GA, Dakota Kent of Twin City, GA, and Breann Kent of Twin City, GA; and three great grandchildren. A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Meloche's life will take place at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 15th at Sebring Moose Lodge.
